Nigerian music promoter and socialite Sam Larry was reportedly involved in a road accident in the early hours of Saturday morning along the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road in Lagos, after his car collided with a trailer.
The accident reportedly claimed the life of his bouncer, who died at the scene.
Viral video and photographs from the scene showed Sam Larry’s vehicle extensively damaged.
Soliciting prayers for Sam Larry in an Instagram post on Saturday evening, Nigerian comedian and MC Mario Wazobia wrote: “PRAY FOR SAMMYLARRY.”
Sharing photos from the scene, he added: “More photos from the early morning accident involving socialite Sam Larry and his bouncer. Reports indicate the bouncer tragically lost his life at the scene while Sam Larry has been rushed to the hospital in critical condition.”
